Extraordinary Plays, Brought to Life
Inside Voices Ensemble celebrates the power of storytelling by presenting high quality performances of the finest works of contemporary playwrights for Temecula Valley audiences.
Coming Soon!
Inside Voices Ensemble proudly presents our first fully staged dramatic production directed by Hannah M. Dixon, Sharr White’s riveting drama The Other Place — a part intricate mystery and part deeply moving family drama.
First premiering Off-Broadway before transferring to a highly celebrated Broadway run, the play earned widespread critical acclaim—including an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play and a Tony Award nomination for its lead performance.
Dr. Juliana Smithton is a brilliant and confident research scientist at the peak of professional success. Yet, during a critical lecture to a room full of colleagues, her carefully ordered reality begins to fracture. With sharp wit and profound empathy, the play is a haunting exploration of truth and the fragility of memory.
“[A] steadily unraveling plot, which zigzags from dark comedy to stark drama on a hairpin.” — Los Angeles Times
“The Other Place is a cunningly constructed entertainment that discloses its nifty twists at intervals that keep us intrigued.” — The New York Times
“The skill and economy of White’s writing … ensures that the drama remains compelling and intelligent.” — The Hollywood Reporter
The play explores mature themes and contains strong language. Tickets will go on sale October 2026. Stay tuned!
